The machine is supplied with either a 1.5kW single phase motor or a 1.1kW three phase motor. %nbsp;It is essential that the machine is connected to a suitable supply. We recommend that the machine is installed by a qualified electrician. Always ensure that the electricity supply is cut off at the mains before commencing any repair or maintenance work.

When wired in correctly the machine should run in the direction shown by the arrow on the fan case, i.e. anti-clockwise. The fan should run at 2200/2500 rpm and the plucking plates at 1100/1300 rpm when the motor is running properly.

Safety Precautions

Care should be taken not to wear loose or baggy clothing that could get caught in the plates when operating the machine, eg scarves, ties, baggy sleeves etc. It is recommended that ear defenders are worn.

Guarantee

New plucking machines are guaranteed for a full 12 months against faulty workmanship and materials. This guarantee will become void however if it is found that the machine has not received proper maintenance as specified

Electric motors are covered seperately by the manufacturers' warranty. It should also be noted that in the event of an electric motor failing, any tampering with the motor without previous consultation with Bingham Appliances (I.B) Ltd. can and will render the warranty null and void.

All replacement parts supplied by Bingham Appliances (I.B) Ltd. are guaranteed by the company for a period of 6 months against faulty workmanship and materials. They are not however covered against failure through fair wear and tear or misuse.
